Kilimanjaro camping experience.

A Kilimanjaro climb is far from a walk in the park. On a 8 day climb, you will walk 43 miles. Weather can change very quickly, especially at high altitudes. Having proper camping equipment is essential for a safe and successful summit. Our Kilimanjaro camps have the best equipment on the mountain. With years of experience operating on Kilimanjaro, you can rest assured you are in good hands.

Expedition Tents

To ensure you stay warm, dry, and comfortable on your Kilimanjaro climb, we use only the very best high-altitude waterproof mountain tents, Mountain Hardwear Trango 3. They are designed to sleep three people, but we never sleep more than two in a tent.
All sleeping tents have custom-made groundsheets covering both vestibules, to allow clean & dry storage of gear, and keeping water, mud, or dust from entering the tent.

Dinning Tents

Our Kilimanjaro climbs have become renowned for the delicious meals served on the mountain. Enjoy your meals in our spacious, walk-in dining tents. Our heavy-duty tents are strong and stable under high winds, rain, and snow. Each tent is equipped with folding chairs, tables, and overhead lights. The tents are roomy enough to make an ideal gathering place for your group in the afternoons and evenings.

Barking Zebra's private hygienic toilet tents are located at all Kilimanjaro camps
